Gigadat doesn't hand out bonuses

Gigadat Casino No Deposit Bonus: what's real and what isn't

Gigadat is a Canadian payment processor, not a casino, and it doesn't give bonuses. Any no-deposit offer you find belongs to the casino. Gigadat only shows up when you try to cash out what you've won, and that's exactly where people tend to get stuck.

Why there's no Gigadat bonus

A no-deposit bonus is the casino's marketing, and the casino writes every rule attached to it: how much you get, which games it works on, how many times you must bet it and how much you can take home. Gigadat Solutions Inc. has no part in that. It's a payment company that has connected Canadian merchants to Interac® banking rails since 2013, and casinos are one of the industries it serves.

Gigadat moves money: it receives your Interac e-Transfer® deposits, matches them to your player account and sends your withdrawals back. With a no-deposit bonus nothing moves at the start, so Gigadat isn't involved at all until you deposit or try to cash out.

The same goes for any "Gigadat bonus code". Gigadat has no player account, no app and no bonuses, so a code with its name on it is either the casino's own promo under a borrowed name or something a website made up. The only place to check it is the casino's own terms.

How no-deposit bonuses usually work

Casinos word them differently, but no-deposit offers tend to come in one of three shapes. None of them is cash yet: each only becomes withdrawable after you've met the terms.

Free spins Spins

Set slot

Spins on one slot, or a short list, chosen by the casino. Each spin has a fixed stake, and winnings usually land as bonus money with wagering attached.

About the games
Bonus credit Credit

Small balance

A small amount of bonus money added after sign-up. You can usually spread it across the eligible games, as long as you stay under the maximum bet.

See typical terms
Free play Time-limited

Countdown

Less common. Play credit to use within a short, fixed window. When the clock stops, the credit is removed and some of what you won, usually capped, becomes bonus money with its own terms.

The terms that decide what you keep

The headline amount matters least. These are the terms that decide whether anything reaches your bank. Figures differ by casino and can change, so we explain each one instead of quoting numbers.

Term What it means Look for
Wagering requirement How many times you must bet the bonus, or the spin winnings, before it becomes cash The multiplier, and what it applies to
Maximum cash-out The most you can withdraw from the offer; anything above it is removed The cap, in dollars
Eligible games Where the bonus can be played; other games may be excluded or count for only part of each bet The game list and contribution rates
Maximum bet The largest stake allowed while the bonus is active; going over can void the winnings The limit per spin or hand
Expiry How long you have to claim it and finish the wagering; what's left then disappears Both deadlines
One per person or household Usually one claim per person, household, address or device Who else at home has claimed
Verification before withdrawal Identity checks before the first payout: photo ID, proof of address, sometimes proof of payment method Which documents, and when
Deposit before withdrawal Some casinos won't pay out no-deposit winnings until you deposit Whether it applies, and how much

How no-deposit terms are usually written, not any casino's rules. Read the current terms on the casino's own site.

Example: following a $10 bonus to the bank

Example: a casino gives you a $10 bonus credit with 40x wagering and a $50 maximum cash-out. These are round numbers for the maths, not an offer from any casino.

The wagering. 40 × $10 means $400 in bets, on eligible games and under the maximum bet, before you can withdraw. That's 400 spins at $1.

The cap. Finish the wagering with $80 and only $50 can be cashed out; the other $30 is removed. Finish with $20 and you can withdraw $20, if it meets the casino's minimum withdrawal.

Every bet carries the house edge, so the more you must wager, the less of the balance tends to survive. Real terms vary by casino: some apply the multiplier to winnings, some count only part of each bet on certain games, and expiry can end the attempt early.

Where Gigadat comes in: cashing out your winnings

Claiming is the easy part. Getting winnings out is harder, and it's where Gigadat finally enters the picture. At casinos that use Gigadat for Interac e-Transfer®, the order is:

  1. 1

Verify your identity. Casinos check who you are before or at the first withdrawal: government photo ID, proof of address, sometimes proof of your payment method. Provincially regulated sites do it at sign-up.

  2. 2

Expect a deposit request. Many casinos ask for a deposit before the first withdrawal of no-deposit winnings. Paid by Interac, that's usually where you first see Gigadat named as the recipient. Use a bank account in the same name as your casino account.

  3. 3

Request the withdrawal. The casino reviews and approves it first; that wait isn't part of Gigadat's timings.

  4. 4

Watch for Gigadat's email. Gigadat sends a confirmation once it has received your withdrawal request.

  5. 5

Get the security answer. When the payout is processed, it's sent separately by text, only from short code 387263, and to the email linked to the e-Transfer. Copy and paste it.

  6. 6

Deposit the e-Transfer. Real-time withdrawals are processed 24/7 and typically arrive 15–30 minutes after they're sent for processing. Standard ones run Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and bank holidays, and typically arrive by the next business day.

Where cash-outs go wrong

  • Three wrong answers. The e-Transfer is cancelled, the money returns to the casino and you must submit a new withdrawal request there.

  • A wrong email or phone number. The transfer is cancelled automatically, or by Gigadat by hand if no bounce notice comes back, and the funds go back to the casino. Contact the casino to restart.

  • A text from another number. Gigadat says 387263 is the only number it sends security answers from. Ignore links from any other number or email.

  • The fix: Autodeposit. Most financial institutions support it. Set it up in your bank's Interac e-Transfer® settings and transfers to that email or number deposit automatically, with no security question.

Still waiting? Enter the ID from the Message section of your e-Transfer in Gigadat's tracking tool at gigadatsolutions.com/e-transfer-status.

Bonus rules depend on your province

A payment processor doesn't decide who may offer you a bonus. That's settled province by province, along with how offers may be advertised.

Ontario19+

Operators register with the AGCO and contract with iGaming Ontario. Ontario restricts advertising bonuses to the public, so regulated operators show their offers on their own sites or after you sign up. A public "Ontario no-deposit code" is a reason to look twice.

Alberta18+

The private market opened on 13 July 2026. Operators register with the AGLC and work with the Alberta iGaming Corporation, alongside the provincial PlayAlberta site.

Québec18+

Loto-Québec runs the only online casino authorized by the province. A no-deposit offer from any other site isn't one Québec has authorized.

Elsewhere18+ / 19+

PlayNow serves British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and Atlantic Lottery the four Atlantic provinces. Manitoba's age is 18; the rest are 19.

Many sites that accept Interac from Canadians hold Kahnawake, Curaçao or Malta licences instead of a provincial one. Their bonus terms are whatever the operator writes, so find the licence in the footer before you claim: it tells you which regulator you'd turn to if a payout is refused.

Free spins come with the game already picked

Free spins are always tied to games the casino chooses. The four below are only examples of popular titles in Canadian lobbies, not the games any particular offer uses, and Gigadat has no say in which games a casino carries.

Whichever slot the casino picks, check two lines: the stake each spin is played at, and whether winnings arrive as cash or as bonus money with wagering. They tell you more than the number of spins.

Before you claim

A few minutes now can save a stuck withdrawal later. These checks cover the two places a no-deposit bonus tends to go wrong: the terms, and the details your payout depends on.

  • Check the licence and your province. Look the licence up with the regulator that issued it, and make sure the site accepts players where you live.

  • Read the full terms on the casino's site, not a summary on a review page, this one included. Note the wagering, the cash-out cap, eligible games, maximum bet and expiry.

  • Ask how cashing out works. Is a deposit required first, and is Interac e-Transfer® offered for withdrawals, not just deposits?

  • Get your documents ready. Photo ID, proof of address and a bank account in the same name as your casino account.

  • Fix your contact details. Gigadat sends the security answer to the email and mobile in your casino profile.

  • Turn on Autodeposit at your bank. Payouts then land without a security question to get wrong.

  • Claim once. It's usually one offer per person or household, and a second account can cost you the winnings.

Frequently asked questions

Does Gigadat offer a no deposit bonus?

No. Gigadat Solutions Inc. is a Canadian payment processor that handles Interac e-Transfer® deposits and withdrawals for casinos and other merchants. It doesn't give bonuses: any no-deposit offer comes from the casino, under the casino's terms.

Is there a Gigadat bonus code?

Not from Gigadat. A "Gigadat bonus code" is either a casino's own promo code with Gigadat's name attached, or made up. Check any code against the terms on the casino's own site.

Can I withdraw no-deposit winnings by Interac?

Yes, if the casino offers Interac e-Transfer® withdrawals and you've met the bonus terms and passed verification. At casinos that use Gigadat you'll get a confirmation email, then a security answer by text from 387263 and by email, then the transfer. Some casinos ask for a deposit first.

Why must I deposit before withdrawing a free bonus?

Because the casino's terms say so; Gigadat has no part in that rule. A deposit links a bank account in your name to your casino account, giving the casino a payment method to send winnings back to. Not every casino requires it, so check before you claim.

How long does the payout take once approved?

Once the casino has approved it and sent it for processing, real-time withdrawals typically arrive within 15 to 30 minutes, 24/7. Standard e-Transfer withdrawals are processed Monday to Friday and typically reach you by the next business day. The casino's own review time comes first and varies by operator.

Do I need a Gigadat account to claim or cash out?

No. Gigadat has no player account, no sign-in and no app. You register with the casino, claim the bonus there and accept the payout in your own online banking. Our sign-up guide covers what to set up first, and the app guide covers doing it on a phone.
